Shure
SM-58 Microphone

ShureSM-57 Microphone (SSM57LC)
(SSM58LC)

The legendary Shure vocal mic is tuned to accentuate the warmth and clarity of lead and back-up vocals. Consistently the first choice of performers around the globe. The Shure SM58® is a unidirectional (cardioid) dynamic vocal microphone designed for professional vocal use in live performance, sound reinforcement, and studio recording. A highly effective, built-in, spherical filter minimizes wind and breath "pop" noise. A cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source while minimizing unwanted background noise. The SM58 has a tailored vocal response for a sound which is a world standard. Rugged construction, a proven shock mount system, and a steel mesh grille ensure that even with rough handling, the SM58 will perform consistently. Outdoors or indoors, singing, speech - the SM58 is the overwhelming choice of professionals.

  • Frequency response tailored for vocals, with brightened midrange and bass rolloff
  • Uniform cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source and minimizes background noise
  • Pneumatic shock-mount system cuts down handling noise
  • Effective, built-in spherical wind and pop filter
  • Supplied with break-resistant stand adapter which rotates 180 degrees
  • Lengendary Shure quality, ruggedness and reliability
  • Cardioid (unidirectional) dynamic
  • Frequency response: 50 to 15,000 Hz

    ShureSM-57 Microphone (SSM57LC)

Outstanding performance and diversity of application make the SM57 the "workhorse" of stages and studios worldwide. Contured frequency response for clean, instrumental reproduction and rich vocal pickup. Professional-quality reproduction for drum, percussion, and instrument amplifier miking. Cardioid (unidirectional) dynamic microphone, frequency response: 40 to 15,000 Hz.

    C1000S Condenser Microphone

    (AC1000S)

Excellent vocal microphone works perfect even from a greater distance, e.g. for picking up choirs and so on. Outstanding performance when used for instruments. Ideal for home recording applications. A special converter (PPC 1000) turns the microphone characteristics from cardioid into hypercardioid, if it is mounted on the mic top. The new PB 1000 Presence Boost Adapter provides an additional 5-dB high-frequency peak in the cardioid mode adding brilliance in the 5 to 9 kHz range.

    Neumann
    TLM103 Microphone

    (NTLM103)

    Applications
Due to the universal cardioid pattern, straightforward handling, extremely low self-noise level, and finally, the price, the TLM103 is predestined for all demanding applications from home recording to professional broadcasting and commercial recording studios.

    Polar pattern
The TLM103 is equipped with a large diaphragm capsule with cardioid pattern. By focusing on this pattern - used in most recording situations - the attenuation of unwanted rear sound has been optimized. Off-axis sounds are rendered naturally while isolation is increased. This also leads to a high feedback suppression when the microphone is used in live situations or where loudspeaker playback is a factor.

    Acoustic features
The TLM103 is addressed from the front, marked with the red Neumann logo on the microphone body. The K103 large diaphragm capsule is based on the K87, well known from the U67/U87 microphones. The capsule has a flat frequency response up to about 5 kHz, and above that, a wide flat 4 dB presence boost. The large wire mesh headgrille protects the capsule from plosive sounds and effectively prevents pop noises. These characteristics are achieved without resorting to corrective resonance effects. Therefore, the microphone maintains an excellent impulse response and reproduces the finest details of music and speech without coloration.
